Survey Says...
|
|
Progressive would like to thank the customers who took time
to respond to our annual Engineering Survey. Nearly 500
companies responded and the feedback is invaluable as it
helps us to advance our product lines to accurately and
successfully meet customer needs.
The feedback received was very positive.
More than 92% of respondents rated Progressive’s overall new product development as either very good or excellent versus that of our competitors.
In addition, more than 94% rated their overall experiences with Progressive, as they pertain to technical service and support, as very good or excellent.
Additional comments also proved helpful. One respondent
said, “We’re very impressed with the Dove Tail collapsible
cores.” Another respondent commented, “I’m ordering from
Progressive more and more. Your competitor’s customer
service is getting slower and slower – keep up the good
work.”
To show appreciation to those who participate in this annual survey, Progressive entered all respondents into a raffle to win a $250 gift certificate. This year’s winner is
Pat Nolan, owner of Prime Engineered Plastics Corp. in Canton, OH. Congratulations!
Progressive welcomes customer feedback anytime.

Carson Tool & Mold prefers internally mounted KO Switches to prevent
needless damage and downtime. |
Progressive’s
KO Switches verify ejector plate position before the next controller sequence. Chris Myers, who is Operations Manager at Carson Tool & Mold, told Progressive why his customer specifies this product over others:
“Our customer used to specify a competing product that was mounted externally, but too many times, when their tools were pulled for PM or storage, the switches would get damaged. Now they specify Progressive’s SWKO-187 (BCP Mount), which is internally mounted. It’s easy to install, and with the cable provided, I can unplug it and put the tool in the crib without worrying about damage occurring. Currently, I’ve got a very complex, two cavity tool utilizing 30 lifters and eight SWKO-187’s. We’ve built several similar tools for the same customer and not one switch has been damaged. They work great.”

Linda
Gannon
Customer Service Specialist
Since coming to work at Progressive in 2002, Linda Gannon has become a valued member of the Customer Service team. Customers who call first thing in the morning will probably be greeted by Linda because she opens the Customer Service department each day. Along with the rest of the team, Linda performs electronic order entry throughout the day – her main objectives being customer satisfaction, teamwork and accuracy. During 2010, Linda came to exemplify those objectives to a very high degree.
“Linda had seven months in which she achieved zero order entry errors,” explained Customer Service Coordinator Michelle Thompson. “Four of those months were consecutive. Considering that she keys literally thousands of orders each month, that is a tremendous achievement to say the least.”
“It’s rewarding to know that our customers can order from us with confidence,” said Linda. “Our entire department has a great accuracy ratio and I’m proud to have been a part of that.”
