See Product Benefits, Animations

More than just a pretty picture, product
benefits are segregated for all involved
in the decision-making process.

No supplier to the mold industry has built a library of product animations as extensive as Progressive’s. We understand that prior to innovations being used, conversations occur between the designers, moldmaker and molder, so our animations include bullet points about features specific to each of these individuals.

We've recently added several new animations including: the UniLifter, StacKit, PKO Extension and the CounterView.

Check these animations out at www.procomps.com/demo.

ToolingDocs' Randy Winton, presenting "Mold Maintenance Capability".

The PDx/amerimold show is now over, having debuted on May 11th, and the Progressive team enjoyed meeting attendees both in our booth and at the following Conference sessions that were presented there:

• Progressive’s OEM Sales Manager Alan Hickok presented “Managing Your Mold Builds”

• Roehr Tool Corporation’s Engineering Manager David Helenius presented “Justifying a Mold Rebuild Utilizing Collapsible Core Technology”

• ToolingDocs’ Global Assessment Manager Randy Winton presented “Mold Maintenance Capability”

• AST Technology's General Manager Andre Eichhorn presented "Optimized Product Development".

Progressive also sponsored the Conference sessions and the popular Leadtime Leader Awards.

For customers and colleagues who could not attend PDx/amerimold, or for those who wish to review what
they saw while there, Progressive
has created a virtual booth located
at www.procomps.com/Amerimold.

Here one can walk the booth and view new and innovative products featured on the show floor. There will also be links posted after the show where highlights of the above conference sessions may be viewed, so check back soon.

It's Been Said

Progressive continues to collect positive product reviews from customers. The most recent feedback concerned Slide Retainers, which are part of the exclusive Friction Free line of products, and designed to reliably and smoothly hold side actions from 10 to 80 pounds without the need for lubrication.

Bob Joy, who is project engineer at Choice Tool & Mold, has ordered many
of Progressive’s SRT-30 Slide Retainers. He provided the drawing shown
here of a recent 32-cavity high production mold used to manufacture a consumer product.

Bob described this project: “The slides have water cooling in order to run a fast cycle. A high quality slide retainer is needed because the water hoses are stiff and can move the slides around. We’ve been using Progressive’s SRT’s for two years. They are better quality than other slide retainers that are available, and our moldmakers like them because they do their job holding the slides open. They are also small and easy to fit on a slide when space is limited.”

While the molds are not being run at Choice Tool’s plant, Bob confirmed that his customers are pleased with the SRT-30’s performance.
