Progressive Sponsors Inaugural PDx/amerimold

the Progressive booth at the recent PDx/amerimold.
|
Progressive, along with its sister companies ToolingDocs, Roehr Tool Corporation and AST Technology GmbH, was among the many exhibitors at the first annual PDx/amerimold show (formerly the MoldMaking Expo) last month in Cincinnati. Our team enjoyed meeting customers from all over and showed them what’s new for building and running more profitable molds.
In addition to exhibiting, Progressive was also a sponsor of the Conference Program and the annual Leadtime Leader Awards, which are presented by MoldMaking Technology Magazine. Congratulations go out to Large Shop Leadtime Leader winner Triangle Tool and Small Shop winner Mold Craft, Inc.
At the Conference Program, each of the PCIC Group companies presented technical sessions as follows:
Each session covered a different aspect of production tooling and molding, from design for manufacture through to systematic mold maintenance best practices.
As a sponsor of the PDx/amerimold Conference Program, the PCIC Group recorded these educational and informative conference sessions for easy post-event access by those looking to advance their production tooling capabilities. To access the videos, click

It's Been Said |
|
Dan Gundrum, tooling designer at Mantz Automation (Hartford, WI), recently purchased several of Progressive’s new Externally Mounted, Cam-Driven Plate
Locks (also referred to as latch locks) and they are currently installed on four molds.
“When we heard Progressive was offering this product we tried them
when the next project that we could,” he said. “Progressive stands
behind its products, so we didn’t hesitate to design these in. They’re
working well and we’ve had no issues. As far as installation, they are
easy compared to other latch lock systems that are out there. Simply
put, these work and it’s what we’ll buy.”

Survey Says... |
Progressive would like to thank the customers who took time out of their busy days to respond to our annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. Your participation is so important because it helps us do our job better for you.
Feedback from customers was very good, with additional comments being both positive and informative. Progressive scored very high versus competitors on such things as customer service, delivery/lead time, product quality, catalog and website, among other items scored. In fact, customer service and product quality scored well into the 90th percentile range.
In addition, more than 97% of respondents said they were satisfied with Progressive
Components as a supplier, and fully 98% would recommend Progressive to colleagues.
To show appreciation to those who participate in this annual survey, Progressive entered all respondents into a raffle to win a $100 gift certificate for them and a $500 gift card for the trade related school of their choosing. This year’s winner is Dave Seeley, Tooling Manager at PTA Corporation in Longmont, CO. Congratulations!
