AMBA Technical Webinar a Success

AMBA Webinar-Regain Profits Using Collapsing Core Technology

Find out how to regain profits from
your unscrewing molds by viewing
this technical webinar.

Al Hickok, Progressive’s OEM Sales Manager, and Dave Helenius, Engineer-ing Manager at Roehr Tool Corporation  recently presented “Regain Profits Using Collapsing Core Technology”, a free technical webinar hosted by the AMBA.

Through the use of case studies and compelling data, the webinar illustrated how high production tools with long product lifecycles are perfect candidates for a mold rebuild or retrofit from unscrewing to using collapsible core technology with profitable results.

The event was well attended, and for those who could not participate, a recorded version of the webinar is available online. Click HERE for immediate access.

It's Been Said

Progressive’s CamActions have garnered a lot of praise over the years
for their convenience and cost savings. Recently, Karen Durand at Dimatic
Die & Tool
told us why she specifies them on their molds:

“We really like Progressive’s CamActions – we use all sizes,” she explained. “They are so quick, they just drop in and you go. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Replacement parts are easy to get, too. We probably have built 75% of our molds this year with a CamAction in there. It beats making and servicing custom side actions.”

Earlier this year Progressive announced that its 300 and 400 Series CamActions (pictured above left) now include the SRT Slide Retainer already installed for improved slide retention capabilities. Now, Progressive introduces the newly released CamAction 350 (pictured above right), offering ¾” travel (18mm) versus the ¼” (6mm) travel of the popular CamAction 300.
