EuroMold concluded on a high note this year, as it gave Progressive the opportunity to once again connect with customers and channel partners from around the globe and share what’s new in the way of products and services and also preview up and coming innovations.
Among new products showcased were Progressive’s
Lifter Blades and Cores, which provide yet more options for achieving undercut release. While Lifter Blades are a solution for very small details molded in restricted spaces, Lifter Cores are a midsize solution for more common applications.
Speaking of innovations, Progressive previewed its new 1-4 Cavity ProtoBridge
Tool as well as new advancements in mold monitoring.

Conclusions
|
|
Last year closed with indications of an overall rise of tooling activity, and while not everyone is at a desired business level, for the most part there was a sustained improvement throughout 2010.
Heading into the New Year, we are hearing of more activity and rising optimism. If this sustains, then there is ample ‘cover’ for us all to advance our businesses and be prepared for any subsequent downturn.
Strengthening our companies in 2011 will make us more resilient in 2012
and beyond, bringing to mind the saying, “Winners make it happen. Losers let
it happen.”
 At Progressive, we’ve been working to find new ways to be of value to molders, mold builders, and their OEM customers. Along the way, we gain some perspective and pass it along. Our hope is that the links provided below can be of use to those
