New Friction Free™ Technology for
Better Tool Performance

For precision mold alignment, Progressive’s new Needle Bearing Locks are designed to withstand the most demanding requirements, providing precise registration between the two halves of the tool. This new series incorporates precision needle bearing technology to provide consistent, smooth positioning. As the locks engage, the bearings provide additional lifting power without metal-to-metal wear. In fact, extensively tested by independent sources, then thoroughly evaluated by leading molders, these locks have been proven to show virtually no wear after one million cycles.

Progressive’s Needle Bearing Locks are available in three sizes of Side Locks, two sizes of Top Locks, and two sizes of Metric Side Locks.

For retention of a mold's side actions, Progressive now introduces a standard new
Slide Retainer that eliminates the resistance and abrasion that occurs with other slide locking products.

Progressive’s exclusive Slide Retention Technology, dubbed SRT, consists of five units in both metric and inch standard sizes. The SRT’s feature a roller which engages into a groove within the side action assembly. An engineered spring has been proven after millions of cycles tested.

Advantages for the molder include maintenance free operation, and reliable slide retention. For the mold builder, this item is significantly more compact that other units and easier to machine, yet holds a greater amount of weight.
