Duquette Joins Progressive Components’ Engineering Team

Wauconda, IL – Progressive Components recently welcomed Michael Duquette as part of its Engineering team.  Duquette will serve as Project Engineer and is responsible for new product development.

Duquette comes to Progressive from Chicago Mold Engineering Co., Inc. in St. Charles, IL, where he was Vice President of Engineering.  With more than 30 years in the mold making industry, he started out as an apprentice at Chicago Mold Engineering and worked his way through the ranks, including becoming the company’s first NC Programmer.  In 1986 he became the first CAD designer at CME and was promoted to Engineering Manager in 1989.  He was V.P. of Engineering from 2004 until joining Progressive Components.

“Mike’s extensive mold making experience will be a valuable asset to our Engineering team,” commented Glenn Starkey, president.

“I can bring a mold maker’s perspective into play here, offering input regarding service, quality, reliability, response time and more,” said Duquette.  “I’m looking forward to working with the Engineering team to expand Progressive’s unique line of products.”
