Progressive Components Welcomes Biddle to North American Sales Team

Wauconda, Illinois – Progressive Components announces the addition of Michael K. Biddle as Program Manager, assisting both in engineering and sales of its Injection Mold and Blow Mold tooling component lines.

Biddle's experience in the tooling industry dates back to his tool and die apprenticeship, which he served at The Timken Company in Canton, Ohio from 1970 until 1985.  During his tenure with Timken, he received his mechanical engineering degree and worked part-time at various mold shops in the Canton area, and eventually moved on full time to a local mold shop where he supervised injection mold and blow mold tool manufacturing operations.

In 1987, Mike moved to Farmington Hills, Michigan, and served as the General Manager for a corporation that produced precision guidance components for the tool and die and stamping industries.  He then accepted the position of Plant Manager and, ten years later, Regional Sales Representative and eventually Senior Product Specialist for another U.S. tooling components supplier.

“Mike’s extensive industry experience will help further Progressive’s Blow Mold tooling program,” commented Mark Malloy, Progressive’s Manager of Sales & Marketing.  “In addition, he will help with sales coverage in the Windsor, Ontario area, and assist with Channel Partners worldwide.”

“I’ve been involved in precision tooling my entire career,” comments Biddle.  “Having built my first injection mold in 1971, I’ve always had a passion for the molding industry, and a deep respect for the talented people involved in it.  I’m excited to join a truly progressive team and looking forward to being part of the continued growth and success of a global organization.”
