Progressive Components Introduces
New Needle Bearing Locks

Wauconda, IL (September 26, 2005) - Progressive Components, a leading supplier of tooling components for the injection mold, blow mold and die cast die industries worldwide, announces the release of its new Needle Bearing Locks. These locks are designed to withstand the most demanding requirements in mold alignment, providing precise registration between the two halves of the tool.

Utilizing FrictionFree™ technology, Progressive’s new series incorporates precision needle bearing technology to provide consistent, smooth positioning. As the locks engage, the bearings provide additional lifting power without metal-to-metal wear. In fact, extensively tested by independent sources, then thoroughly evaluated by leading molders, these locks have been proven to show virtually no wear after one million cycles.

Competitively priced, Progressive’s Needle Bearing Locks are available in three sizes of Side Locks, two sizes of Top Locks, and two sizes of Metric Side Locks. They’re compatible with other industry standard sizes allowing for retrofitting onto existing molds, and CAD geometry is available in multiple formats for designing into new tools.
