Progressive Components Welcomes Alan Hickok As Sales Engineer

Wauconda, IL, USA – Progressive Components has expanded its operations with the addition of Alan Hickok to its sales team. Al has assumed his responsibilities as Sales Engineer and will be the key contact for customers in the states of Illinois, Indiana and western Michigan.

A degreed Mechanical Engineer, Al gained valuable experience building large, high cavitation molds (including unscrewing molds and stack molds) for automation equipment manufactured in the U.S. and Europe while working as a Project Engineer and Project Manager at Seaquist Closures. He also worked as a Tooling Engineer at Bemis Manufacturing.

“Al has worked extensively with packaging and medical molds and therefore will be a great asset as he works with customers to address their product development needs,” said Glenn Starkey, president of Progressive Components. “The technologies available to them, such as our Collapsible Cores and Expandable Cavities, are the kinds of options that will help our customers increase profitability in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.”
